CalCs - Calendar Complications 1.41

CalCs, short for "Calendar Complications," is a dedicated watchOS application offering a range of calendar-related complications tailored for the Apple Watch platform.

Important Notes:

• The app's core functionality includes event and reminder lists as well as monthly calendar views. Other features are accessible via complications or the Smart Stack.
• Users who downloaded CalCs through the iPhone App Store may encounter synchronization issues that prevent the app from appearing on the Apple Watch. In such cases, re-downloading directly from the iPhone App Store is not possible due to Apple's specifications. Instead, users should:
• • Tap the search button in the top left corner, search for "CalCs," and select it.
  • Scroll to the bottom, go to "Account," select "Purchased," and find "CalCs."

Key Features:

• Supports various complications, including date display, event and reminder display, and month calendar display.
• • Date Display: Provides current date in multiple formats.
  • Next Event and Reminder Display: Shows the next event and reminder synced with the iPhone, incorporating all-day events based on user preferences. Note that circular complications display only the first three characters of event or reminder titles.
  • Month Calendar Display: Presents the current month’s calendar with an option to start weeks on Monday or Sunday and can also show upcoming events. There are five viewing options: two weeks for the current and next week; three weeks for last week, current week, and next week; first half of the month; second half; or view of the entire month.
• The main app interface allows users to view lists of events and reminders alongside monthly calendars. Interactions include:
• • Scrolling through events and reminders across previous months and three subsequent months.
  • Long tap to quickly navigate to current or next event or reminder.
  • Swipe from right to left to switch to month calendar view. Only incomplete reminders are displayed; features such as adding, editing, deleting events or reminders are not currently available.
• The monthly calendar view permits users to scroll through previous and upcoming months, toggle starting days of the week with double taps, long tap to jump to the current month, and swipe left or right for navigation between views.

Minimal Settings:

Given the limited screen space of Apple Watch, settings are restricted to selecting which calendars and reminder lists to display.

Notes:

• Circular complications and large rectangular complications are compatible from Apple Watch Series 4 onward; thus, functionality on Series 3 and earlier is not guaranteed.
• Due to restrictions on updates for watchOS complications, users may experience delays in reflecting changes made on their iPhone.
• Complication updates may take time: If complications do not refresh promptly, launching CalCs by tapping the complication may initiate an update. If they still fail to update after tapping, force quitting CalCs may be necessary. To force quit: long press the side button while CalCs is open until the emergency call/power off screen appears, then long press the digital crown.
• If full calendar access is not granted during the initial launch of CalCs, it will not prompt for permission again. Users must manually clear permissions via their iPhone settings before re-allowing access:
  1. Navigate to "Calendars" under "Privacy and Security" in iPhone Settings.
  2. Change access for CalCs to "None," then select "Add Events Only."
  3. When opening CalCs again, tap "Allow full access" when prompted.
